- For the fifth consecutive year, Gundersen Lutheran has been named a member of the Environmental Leadership Circle - Practice Greenhealth's most prestigious award, making it one of only 10 organizations who have received this award five years in a row.
- Gundersen Lutheran has been recognized among the top 5 percent of hospitals for emergency medicine.
- La Crosse-Eau Claire area named 24th in the nation for hospital care by HealthGrades, and independent health care ratings organization, which also ranked Gundersen Lutheran in the top five for clinical excellence for the fourth consecutive year.
- For eight consecutive years, Winona Health has been named on the nations Most Wired Small and Rural Hospital list.
- Gundersen Lutheran was named one of the nation's 100 top hospitals for the fourth consecutive year by Thomson Reuters, making it one of only 13 to receive this award four years in a row.

- Winona State is ranked in US News medi Group's Best Colleges edition:
* Second Best Regional University in Minnesota (49th overall)
* 11th amongst Midwest public universities
- Winona State ranked in America's 100 Best College buys for the 15th consecutive year (one of only two Minnesota schools making the ranking)

- La Crosse Ranked 16th in the "50 Smartest Places to Live" ranking by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. That was the highest ranking for a city when looking at criteria such as housing prices, cost of living, economic vitality, education, health care, the local arts scene, and recreational facilities.
